Smart Education is working with a wide range of specialist SEN schools across Birmingham who are seeking dedicated, proactive and nurturing Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

We have opportunities in both mainstream and specialist settings, supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and moderate to complex learning difficulties.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you may:
• Provide classroom support alongside the class teacher
• Deliver 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
• Support targeted interventions and differentiated learning
• Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation
• Promote independence, engagement and confidence

 

We are looking for individuals who are:
• Patient, resilient and adaptable
• Confident supporting pupils with additional needs
• Experienced working with children or young people (school or SEN experience preferred)
• Passionate about making a positive impact in education

 

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one), and we must be able to obtain recent references.
